Who will they be as a fifth grader?
We don’t yet know who your child will be as a fifth grader when they are just entering kindergarten. Most families apply to Aurora when their child is quite young and are able to reevaluate their middle school choice based on who their child is in the fifth grade.
Will she be a serious mathematician who wants to attend a school with a Math Club? Will sports be his focus for choosing a Middle School? Maybe music calls her and she’ll want to go to a school where she can play in a jazz band.
Our students apply to and visit many different Middle Schools in the area
Choosing a middle school
We work with our fifth grade families to support them through the Middle School Admissions process
Positive role models and leaders
Aurora alumni have paved a broad path for the future generations of Aurora graduates. Our alumni are positive role models and leaders in their middle school and high school communities. Consequently, our current graduates are in demand.
This chart reflects a list of all the middle schools our graduates have attended in the last five years.
We host a Middle School info night and an Alumni Panel for our fifth grade students
