Parents of: Sara (Alumna 1999)

In 1993 we made our decision to send Sara to Aurora. Why Aurora? We wanted a school that honored all of Sara. Sure, we wanted a huge helping of reading, writing, and arithmetic, but more importantly we wanted to make sure her unique light was not diminished. We wanted Sara stretched to become her very best self, surrounded with friends, teachers, and great adventures while in school. The foundation that has supported Sara’s growth to the successful 29-year-old she is today, was built during her six years at Aurora.

Even though it has been 18 years since Sara left Aurora, Richard and I donate annually to the school. We do it to honor Sara. We do it to honor the teachers and administrators who guided her. We do it because we owe the same wonderful experience to any child who applies and whose parents cannot afford the tuition. We do it for the future that our daughter will live in. We do it because we believe in Aurora and wish for other children the great start in life that it gave our daughter. We have many fond memories of Aurora that are still very precious to us all these many years later. Won’t you consider donating to Aurora, so your child and the Aurora children of the future will have such a grand start in life?

Rolling admissions are open for the 2023-24 school year!
