One of the things I enjoyed most about my time at Aurora was being part of the Philanthropy Club. As a member of this club, I helped fundraise for people in need, which gave me more empathy for others, showed me how much I loved helping others, and inspired me to help others more often.
Aurora taught me the importance of kindness and respect for differences. Each teacher provided different points of view and perspectives that helped shape who I am today. Aurora also taught me how to create positive relationships with my teachers, navigate conflict resolution, and the importance of having a good, strong community.
Since graduating Aurora, I have participated in organizing and leading the Women of Courage Panel at the Julia Morgan School for Girls. This was an inspiring event for me to be a part of because I had the opportunity to meet so many accomplished women. In my free time, I have traveled to Quebec and Montreal where I enjoyed participating in another culture. I also went on a backpacking trip with my family to the Grand Tetons where I got to see and experience the amazing beauty of nature.
