Session One: Week of June 20 – 24, 2022

LEGO®: Building Adventures  **FULL**
June 20 – 24, 2022 | 9:00 am – 3:30 pm | $529 | ages 5 – 8

Spend a week creating motor-powered LEGO masterpieces!  We’ll have different themes each day including Super Animal Safari, Star Wars & Space Journeys, Speedway Racers, Disney Day and more!  These projects will give you experience with how to use LEGO Technic electric components, gears, and wheel-and-axle systems. Then, it’s time for our super build – we build a remote-controlled LEGO project each day, which lets you control steering and forward/backward motion, all with a remote! Great for races, jousts, and obstacle courses! Take your LEGO design and engineering skills to the next level in this camp. Bring lunch, snacks and beverage daily.

Girls STEAM Tech Camp
June 20 – 24, 2022 | 9:00 am – 3:30 pm | $529 | ages 7 – 11

This camp offers a workshop environment where girls can explore, tinker, dream, and create in a place of their own. Led by female instructors, girls explore engineering and robotics by building creatures and vehicles powered with LEGO® motors, battery packs and gears. Girls also use Scratch® software to design fun computer games to play such as Ski Adventure, Restaurant Rush and Pet Sitters. Scratch® teaches the fundamentals of computer science, such as loops and conditionals, through easy-to-use code blocks. Bring lunch, snacks and beverage daily.

Session Two: Week of June 27 – July 1, 2022

June 27 – July 1, 2022 | 9:00 am – 3:30 pm | $529 | ages 6 – 9

Calling all Pokemon fans!  Design motor-powered LEGO versions of your favorite Pokemon, from the friendly Mimikyu to the powerful Charizard.  You’ll power all with motors and gears, and use your creatures in races, battles and other activities. Then, learn block coding basics as you complete Pokemon-themed computer games using Scratch, the number 1 programming software for kids!  By the end of the week, you will know how to design LEGO Pokemon and take home the fun Pokemon-themed games which you made! Bring lunch, snacks and beverage daily.

From building unique homes, to creating fun amusement park attractions, to engineering a light-up dance floor for game characters, we’ll be taking Minecraft to a new level. This class is perfect for newcomers, but can even challenge Minecraft veterans to take a new look at what they can do in the game! Bring lunch, snacks and beverage daily.
