Oct. 28: The Aurora Book Fair. Middle School Quest events, and Yoga in the Yard.
Oct. 21: Aurora Trivia Night, an ofrendas for Dia de Muertos, and students share what they like about Aurora.
Oct. 14: Family Day in K/1, Middle Schoolers take an overnight trip, and we get ready for the Book Fair.
Oct. 7: Bioscience in the Middle School, Community Creators in the Lower School, and a march to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month.
Sept. 30: Hands-on learning with ooblek, Aurora Trivia Party, Back to School Night recap, and Middle Schoolers hear about high schools.
Sept. 23: Yoga in the Yard and the Fairyland Book Festival. Schedule for Back to School Night, and students take up tennis.
Sept. 16: How a strong school community supports the mission. National Hispanic Heritage month, and an invitation to Fairyland.
Sept. 9: Thoughts on Middle School Advisory, growth, belonging, and potatoes. Registration opens for enrichment classes, and the schedule for school picture day.
Sept. 2: Welcome back! Info on enrichment classes, Back to School Night, hot lunches, and more.
2024-25 School Year
June 17: Pics and celebrations from the final week of school. Have a great summer!
June 10: Partner Pals wrap it up, 8th Grade Graduation, and Field Day.
June 3: A full house for the annual Art Show & STEM Night, and the Middle School Band surprises Tuesday Assembly.
May 27: Middle Schoolers deliver investigative journalism and biomedical engineering, and students run the school for a day.
May 20: The Aurora Mascot Challenge, and class performances from Rooms a and 3.
May 13: We welcome our 5th grade class of 2019 as they graduate high school, and a thanks to our community.
May 6: Local author Mượn Thị Văn visits and the 4/5 have an adventurous overnight at Westminster Woods.
April 29: the 4/5's put on a show, and we talk about Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
April 22: Back from break! Middle Schoolers do an overnight on the coast, 25-26 Academic Calendar is posted.
April 8: Drama in the auditorium, cellular biology in the STEM Lab, and Parent/Teacher Conferences.
April 1: Celebrating Arab American Heritage Month, a new mural gets started, and hands-on learning in the K/1 classroom.
March 18: A day in the park, the Aurora Auction goes live, and the 4/5 students clean up Lake Temescal.
March 11: Family Game Night, Middle School Quest presentations, and thoughts on computational thinking.
March 4: Black History Month presentations, learning about California at the Peralta Hacienda, and auction previews.
February 25: Rainy day gaga ball, the Aurora Auction, an Academic Relay, and our Valentine's Day Craft Sale.
February 11: Agility, Valentine's Day, and the K/1 students take a trip to the Berkeley Bavarium and Aquatic Park.
February 4: Visualizing math, deconstructing how computers “think,” and February break camp.
January 28: Fifth grade STEM and a trip to the museum.
January 21: Gung Hay Fat Choy! Auction tickets go on sale, Puberty Education starts, and a visit with our Music Specialist.
January 14: Winter Enrichment Class lineup, and a visit to the Aurora Woodshop.
