Visit our Tuesday Assemblies
We have all-school assemblies every Tuesday from 8:45-9am. In addition to students and staff, parents and guardians are invited to attend, and once a month it’s followed by a parent/guardian coffee hour led by our Head of School. Attending an assembly is a great way to get a feel for our community. If you’d be interested in attending, email lisa@auroraschool.org.

Aurora is proud of our alums! They are heart-smart, head-smart, and the kind of compassionate and confident people the world needs.
Why multi-grade classrooms?
Each of our Lower School classrooms combines two grades: K/1, 2/3, and 4/5 students share learning spaces for and have the same teacher for two years. In Middle School they share the same team of guides. At both levels certain subjects are taught by grade level, and curricula are rotated so that no lessons are repeated.
Studies have shown that looping with the same teacher for more than a year improves learning, and combining grades empowers students to learn empathy and mentoring.
