Why Support the Auction...

Besides a fun night out away from the kids?

The auction is an opportunity for our friends and families to come together, create community, and simply celebrate.

Tuition alone doesn't cover the cost of running Aurora. The Auction supports everything from classroom equipment to professional development for our faculty, and allows us to maintain and grow our wide range of specialist classes.

It also allows us to maintain economic diversity by offering tuition support to 39% of Aurora families.

Highlights of the Night:

  • Kick off the night with a cocktail reception and appetizers.
  • Mingle and bid on exclusive items in the silent auction featuring one of-a-kind baskets, events, and tickets - happening in the downstairs lounge.
  •  Get ready to have your mind blown by Mentalist Jake Berg
  • Get ready to bid at our main event! The live auction will include getaways, class art projects, parties, wine excursions, and more!
  • Satisfy your sweet tooth with churros and cakes donated by local bakeries!
  • Finally dance dance dance! We will have more dancing until lights out at 10pm!

Auction FAQ's

The auction is a community event and fundraiser. Current and past parents and guardians, faculty, staff, alumni, and more convene for a celebratory evening and enjoy delicious food and drinks, bid on items in a live and silent auction, and raise funds for our beloved programs.

This year, our auction—with a mind boggling magic show—will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at the Claremont Social Club, 214 Hillcrest Rd., Berkeley.

Tickets are $130. We will have an early bird special with 30 tickets priced at $100, so get your tickets on Tuesday January 6th!

No, tickets need to be purchased online before the event.

All ticket sales are final and we cannot offer refunds if you do not attend.

We want to make sure everyone who wants to attend can attend. If the price of the tickets creates a financial hardship for your family please contact Lynsey (lkamine@auroraschool.org) as soon as possible.

The auction is an event for our entire adult community. You must be 21+ to attend. We encourage parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, alums (21 years or older!), friends, and neighbors to attend, so please spread the word.

To be announced

We encourage you to come dressed for a magical night out. But please wear whatever you are most happy in! We invite you to participate in the activities as much or as little as you'd like. We will roll out the red carpet for you, whatever you decide to wear!

The Claremont Social Club is in a quiet residential neighbourhood so we encourage carpooling or car services. Your first stop is our check-in area, where you will receive your bidder number and assistance setting up your payment information on our auction platform (Auctria) if you haven't done so before the event. Use your bidder number to participate in the paddle raise and to bid on items generously donated by local businesses and our community members. You can enjoy drinks, delicious food, great music, and dancing between our silent and live auctions. At the end of the evening, you will pick up your winning items to take home!

Instead of a plated dinner, we will have an open seating format for attendees to create more gathering and community-building opportunities. We will have a robust menu of food options, from lighter appetizers to heartier entrées. We will also offer delicious  gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options for those with dietary restrictions.

Receipts will be sent by email shortly following the event. If you've signed up for a student or adult party, the host(s) will contact you with further details.

We are so sorry to miss you! If you cannot attend, we invite your support in various ways. You can:

  • Donate an item or experience.
  • Do you have connections to a local sporting event for a quintessential Bay Area experience?
  • A group of friends you would like to throw an adult or kid party with? Be creative!
  • You can bid in the online auction which will have lots of great gift cards and experiences!
