Aurora School

Aurora also offers half- and full-day care for times when classes are out, including:

The first week of our two-week winter break in December/January
Weeklong breaks in February and April

Staff development days
Parent/Teacher Conference days

Break Camp themes and costs are posted here as they approach, and announced in the Tuesday Tell All.

Care is available at no charge while you are in your child’s Parent/Teacher conference.

Care is unavailable on legal holidays when there is no school.

Camps are open to non-Aurora students.

Spring Break Camp

Theme- Spring Has Sprung!

Spring is here, so we’ll center our activities and crafts around this most hopeful of seasons! With nature as our guide, we’ll spend time in our garden forest (weather permitting!) both collecting materials for crafts and playing fun games in the great outdoors. We’ll even throw in some Spring baking and even spring cleaning! (Don’t worry it’s just a game called “Clean Your Room”, we’ll limit the camper’s actual cleaning to the usual of just cleaning up after themselves). Camp is just Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this year, sign up for one day or all 3.

Camp activities run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Before Care from 8:30 to 9:00 am is included with your tuition. After Care until 5:00 pm is available at an extra cost.

April 11-13, 2023

$95 per day if registered by Tuesday, March 28, 2023 (camp day only 9a-3p)

$125 per day if registered by Tuesday, April 4, 2023 (camp day only 9a-3p)

$25 per day for Extended Care until 5:00 pm

February Break Camp

Theme- Treasure Island: Pirates Nowhere Near the Caribbean

Arrrrr Mateys!! Don your pirate hat and join us for a trip to the seven seas! Through crafts, games, sewing, writing, cartooning, and imagination activities, campers will have fun exploring all things pirate. Sample activities include treasure hunts, costume making, pirate themed games, and much more!

Camp activities run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Before Care from 8:30 to 9:00 am is included with your tuition. After Care until 5:00 pm is available at an extra cost.

February 21-24, 2022

Winter Break Camp

Theme: Far, Far, Away: Fun Through Fairly Tales!

Take a journey to the magical land of Far, Far, Away to learn about a myriad of fairy tale creatures and their magical ways. Through crafts, games, baking, writing, cartooning, and drama activities, campers will have fun exploring with their imaginations to create wonder and joy. Sample activities include baking gingerbread people, create your own fairy tales, crafting fairy houses, magical theater games, and much more!

Camp activities run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Before Care from 8:30 to 9:00 am is included with your tuition. After Care until 5:00 pm is available at an extra cost.
